Farmpure Meats boasts with one of the most modern and best designed factories in South Africa, built in 2007 with well controlled cold chain from reception to dispatch, each area being separated with its own temperature control.                     


The factory makes use of the GMP and HACCP and is regularly audited and approved by the major retailers in South Africa.

The factory has a capacity of processing more than one thousand (1 000) pigs per week.


We are the national bacon suppliers of Pick ‘n Pay.

Time-honoured methods of preparation applied to an up-to-date processing environment ensure that Farmpure Meats’ delicious and succulent products meet the most exacting gourmet standards.


Our  processing plant boasts one of the most modern and well-designed facilities in South Africa. Built in 2007, it has a controlled cold chain from reception to dispatch, each area having separate temperature control. The factory makes use of GMP and HACCP and is regularly audited and approved by the major retailers in the country. It has a capacity of more than 1000 carcasses per week.


The pork used at Farmpure Meats is sourced in Northern KwaZulu-Natal and Southern Mapumalanga where pigs are raised in modern, animal friendly, specialised facilities. Only PIC genetics are used, which are world renowned for their leanness, tenderness, good marbling and meat colour. Farmpure Meats uses only meat from female and castrated male pigs with a P or O grade. Some of the supplier farms are also compartmentalised for export purposes. Farmpure Meats supplies a complete range of pork and processed meat products and specialises in providing specific products and packaging according to the client’s requirements.
